A1 Towing and Business Majors Partner in New Parking Venture

Finance majors Jake Lawrence and Fiona Park have partnered with A1 Towing to create an Aggie RV Park in Lot 100 after noticing the difficulty of parking on campus. To alleviate this need and profit off Texas A&M Transportation Services’ greed, they came up with a solution: have students sleep in their cars.

“I was always late to class because I spent so much time trying to find a parking spot,” Park said. “With an Aggie RV Park, students will never have to leave Lot 100 to find any other parking spots.”

Lawrence and Park plan to block off a portion of Lot 100 for their RV park and sell their ultimate parking pass upgrade for students interested in living in the parking lot.

“Students are the best way to keep this company growing,” an anonymous representative of A1 Towing said. No further explanation for A1 Towing’s involvement with this venture was given, but tow truck patrols have noticeably increased in Lot 100 since the creation of the RV Park.

Lawrence and Park are in the process of blocking off portions of Lot 100 with caution tape and hope to have the RV Park open in time for the semester finals. A parking pass will of course be needed to purchase access to the RV Park.

Texas A&M has no affiliation with the RV Park. All vehicles found in Lot 100 after 2 AM will be towed.
