New “7-Up” Run Club Touts Slogan: “Everyone Here is a Seven or Up!”
Young adults looking to find love in College Station now have a new run club to choose from. Two Texas A&M University students, Rachelle Small and Bryan Corral, created the 7-Up Run Club to build a community where attractive, romantically available Aggies can meet while wearing minimal clothing.
The Mugdown sat down with Small and Corral and they shared what had motivated them to start 7-Up.
“We weren’t satisfied with the current run club offerings in College Station. The runners of Cloud 9 Run Club are hot. The runners of Rev Up Run Club are sexy. But 7-Up runners are hot and sexy,” said Small.
“I wanted my desperate single friends to get some play. You don’t have to make eye contact when you’re running, so I figured it would be a less intimidating way for them to talk to women,” said Corral.
7-Up’s co-founders want prospective members to know they don’t need prior running experience to attend the club’s runs. “We truly only care about the way you look. The running part is just a vehicle for getting sweaty in each other’s presence,” Small said.
Although no running experience is necessary, 7-Up does impose other strict membership requirements. Male attendees may wear nothing on their upper body except an optional silver cross chain. Female runners must wear a matching neon workout set with Hoka or New Balance running shoes. Most importantly, runners in committed romantic relationships are not welcome at 7-Up Run Club.
— Ditzie Chicken

Ditzie Chicken is not a male-centered woman, she simply thinks men are the most interesting aspect of life. She must obsess over a boy at all times lest she rapidly descend into a pit of melancholia. Ditzie Chicken does not discriminate; she thinks all men are handsome, as long as they are blonde. Before spending time with friends, Ditzie makes a mental list of three potential conversational topics that have nothing to do with men so as not to annoy her companions with another pointless monologue about her favorite man of the week. In her free time, Ditzie enjoys thinking about dating, thinking about men and thinking about dating men. Despite what may be suggested by her personality, Ditzie Chicken has an IQ of over 180. In the future, she plans to work as a biomedical-aerospace-chemical engineer and, more importantly, get married.
