We fixed the Battalion’s Crossword

By Mugdown Staff , in Better Than The Battalion , at August 26, 2024 Tags: ,

The Battalion recently released their first print of the school year, and — spoiler alert — completely screwed up the crossword. In past semesters, their puzzle sections have been as low-effort as possible, basically just copy-pasted from some program that spits them out.

It seems like this year’s editor team tried to take the reins and flex their creative muscles by making their own crossword. Big mistake. Not only is it missing an answer key, it’s completely unplayable, featuring such Battalion classics as .5 numbers and clues that have no corresponding boxes.

We here at The Mugdown don’t think it’s all that difficult to make a crossword puzzle, so we decided to go ahead and fix The Batt’s mistakes for them.
