Freshman Cadet Finally Has Fashion Freedom: Wears T-Shirt, Basketball Shorts, and Tall White Socks

Now that the Corps of Cadets is officially “dead” and cadets no longer have to wear uniform or even acknowledge they are in the Corps, freshmen cadets can finally express themselves through their unique style. Fish Dudley quickly took advantage of this newfound privilege, styling himself in his maroon NSC shirt, basketball shorts, and tall white socks with sneakers.

“I wanted to channel my inner creativity with this look and show all the non-reg girls who I really am underneath the khaki,” Dudley said.

“It’s great! Everyone just sees us as normal students now,” Fish Pitts, one of Dudley’s bald-headed buddies, said. “They can finally tell me and the other fish apart!”

Pitts chose to express his individuality by also wearing a t-shirt, basketball shorts, tall white socks, and Birkenstocks to mix things up.

Emily Reeves, Dudley and Pitts’s classmate, said “I could only ever tell them apart with their name tags. Now, I can’t even do that.”
