You’ll NEVER Believe What Rev III Looks Like NOW!

From 1966 to 1975, Reveille III stunned audiences with her effortless beauty and elegance as Texas A&M University’s official mascot. In May of ‘75, at the height of her popularity, Rev III shocked the Texas A&M community by taking a leave of absence from her position as Queen of Aggieland. Since then, Rev III has all but disappeared from the public eye – until now!

Last week, investigative journalists at The Mugdown went undercover (and underground!)  to unearth the truth behind Rev III’s mysterious departure. After some serious digging, our reporters excavated the truth.

Reveille III regrettably passed away on May 31, 1975 following several bouts of pancreas disease. A widely-attended funeral was hosted in her memory in September the same year. She was respectfully interred alongside her fellow Revs in a gravesite facing Kyle Field where she symbolically supports the Aggie football team to this day.
